My Soccer Story

Mrs. Green returned from the grocery store with her arms full of bags, but when she reached her front door, she realized her house key was missing. She searched her pockets, purse, and shopping bags, but the key was nowhere to be found. As she started to panic, her young neighbor Emma, an eight-year-old with a cheerful smile, noticed her distress and asked what was wrong.

Mrs. Green explained her problem, and Emma, always quick with ideas, suggested checking the sidewalk in case the key had fallen out during the walk home. When Mrs. Green said she had already looked everywhere, Emma had another suggestion. She offered to pray with Mrs. Green to ask for help in finding the key, explaining that prayer was powerful and that God was always listening.

Though not accustomed to praying, Mrs. Green agreed, touched by Emma’s confidence. They sat together on the steps, and Emma led a simple, heartfelt prayer, asking God to help them find the lost key. Mrs. Green felt a sense of comfort and hope after the prayer, even though she wasn’t sure what to expect.

Afterward, the two of them retraced Mrs. Green’s steps, searching once again in the areas they had already checked. Just as Mrs. Green was about to lose hope, Emma called out from near the bushes by the front steps. There, hidden in the leaves, was the missing key.

Mrs. Green was overjoyed and couldn’t believe it. She hugged Emma and thanked her, feeling grateful not only for finding the key but also for the reminder of the power of prayer. Emma simply smiled and said she believed God had helped them.

From that moment on, Mrs. Green never forgot the lesson Emma had taught her. Whenever she encountered a problem, whether big or small, she remembered to turn to prayer for guidance, just like Emma had shown her. And remarkably, things always seemed to work out in the end.

Sunny is very excited about Halloween and has been thinking a lot about which costume to choose. He finally decided on the Harry Potter costume.

Once upon a time in a sunny little town, there was a small boy named Freddy who loved baseball more than anything! Even though he was tiny and not very strong, his heart was as big as the baseball field. He admired Barry Bomber, a famous player who won many games with his spectacular hits.

Johnny tried out for the little league team but it didn't go well; every swing he took missed the ball and some of the other kids laughed at him. Instead of playing on the field, the kind coach asked Johnny to help manage the team. Freddy accepted with a smile because he still got to be near baseball.

The season was exciting and went by quickly until one special game: The Championship! Sadly during this important match, Brock, the star player got hurt and couldn't continue. To everyone's surprise, Coach asked Johnny to take Brock's place. Nervous yet excited, Johnny put on his helmet and picked up the bat.

When it seemed like all hope was lost with two runs down in their final inning, something magical happened. It was Johnny's turn to bat and BOOM! With a surprising swing of his little arms, he hit a grand slam home run! Everyone cheered wildly as they lifted Johnny onto their shoulders celebrating their unexpected win thanks to our tiny hero's great effort.

Chapter 3: Finding the Magical Horse
David found the secret cave where his father’s horse and armor were kept. The horse was strong and fast, with a mane that shone like gold. The armor was shiny and powerful, reflecting the sunlight. David put on the armor, mounted the horse, and felt ready to face any challenge.

Chapter 4: The Battle Begins
David rode out to meet Misra Melik’s army. He could hear the clashing of swords and the shouts of soldiers. With a loud battle cry, David charged into the fray, his sword gleaming in the sunlight.

Chapter 5: The Duel
David challenged Misra Melik to a one-on-one fight. Misra Melik accepted, thinking he could easily defeat David. But David was quick and smart. He dodged Misra Melik’s attacks and struck back with precision. The clash of their swords echoed across the battlefield.

Chapter 6: Victory
After a fierce battle, David defeated Misra Melik. The enemy army was scared and ran away. David returned to Sassoun as a hero, and the people celebrated his victory with songs and dances. They were safe once again, thanks to David’s courage and strength.

Ella is a very curious little cat.  She lets her imagination get the best of her and she gets scared when she hears strange noises or smells strange smells.  
One day she is lying in the window and hears a large growl. She thinks it has to be a monster and confides in her animal friends that she is scared.
She starts with Thumper the house rabbit who is eating a crunchy carrot and doesn't hear anything.
She then talks to Tink the Maine Coon Cat who was too busy chasing her tail to hear anything.
She then asks Azreal the wise old Tuxedo cat who can't be bothered with such ridiculous ideas.
She then comes across Elmer the mini goldendoodle who was too busy playing with his ball and really just doesn't care.
She talks to Minnie the pomeranian who is only worried about when she gets her next meal.
Finally she walks into Allie's room where Allie is playing with her breyer horses.  Allie sees that Ella is scared and knows she heard the sound of her mother running the garbage disposal so she takes Ella in her arms to show her it was nothing at all and she shouldnt' let her imagination run wild and make her scared.

They’d be having a pleasant afternoon tea, and suddenly, Auggie would let out a thunderous toot that could wake the dead. Mrs. Higgins, the elderly lady next door, would clutch her pearls and mutter, “Oh, dear! It’s Auggie again.”
Auggie’s escapades were legendary. One day, he attended the annual Puptown Dog Show. As the elegant poodles pranced around the ring, Auggie sat in the corner, pretending to be all dignified. But when the judge announced, “Best in Show,” Auggie couldn’t contain himself. He let out a fart so powerful that it blew the toupee off the mayor’s head. The crowd gasped, and Auggie wagged his tail proudly. He knew he’d just won the unofficial title of “Most Explosive Performance.”

1.  Vasi asked John Jr about being Kind.  Vasi had heard that a brief act of kindness can change people’s hearts.  Vasi thought that sounded like something that he wanted to do. 
2. John Jr told Vasi that kindness was the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.  John Jr and Vasi decided to go out and try to be kind to everything for the day.
3.  They went for walk into town.  John Jr decided to gather old books to donate to the Children's home. John Jr told Vasi to smile at everyone.  They smiled and everyone smiled back. John Jr and Vasi took books to the Children's home and they recieved compliments for their kindness.  That made John Jr and Vasi feel good inside.
2.  John Jr and Vasi decided to go to store to pick up something to feed the birds and a snack for themselves.  When they got to store, John Jr and Vasi held door open for people.  As they was shopping they saw a family who had matching outfits on.  John Jr gave them a compliment.  The family smiled at John Jr and Vasi.

"Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see".  John Jr and Vasi tell each other how easy it is to be kind

At the car, John Jr and Vasi helped to unload the carts.  The momma was very appreciative and gave John Jr and Vasi some candy she had just bought.
5. John Jr and Vasi head home and give bird seed to the birds along the way.  At home John Jr tells his parents about his goal to be the kindest person.  His parents hugged him and said that was a wonderful goal.
