And then came lunch - soup, mashed potatoes with a cutlet and, of course, compote with cookies. Lena ate everything with pleasure and always said:

But Lena's favorite time was in the evening. After dinner, mom and dad would let Lena have a “dessert tea party”. The girl would sit down at the table with a cup of tea and a big plate of cakes.

- Lenochka, and you are not afraid that you will become too big from all these delicious things? - sometimes daddy would joke.
- No! - Lena answered. - I'll just become the happiest person!

But one day it happened that Lena's tummy suddenly got sick. The doctor said it was because the girl ate too many sweets and forgot about healthy fruits and vegetables.

The world was rough for Rosie. The front porch she called home was noisy and cold, and other cats, lean and quick, fought for scraps and dry spots. Rosie tried to keep up, but her small body was too weak, her ribs too sharp beneath her matted fur. She wheezed with every breath, her thin tail covered in dirt, and the ache inside her made moving feel impossible.

Next door was a house Rosie often found herself near when the pain got too bad. Light spilled from its windows, and inside, a man and woman moved together, their faces kind but lined with sadness. Something about the house felt safe. One evening, Rosie collapsed near their yard, her body trembling, too tired to move. The man stepped outside, crouching near her with a plate of food. Rosie dragged herself forward, eating for the first time in days, her body shaking with the effort.
“Poor thing,” the woman said softly, reaching out her hand but not touching Rosie right away. Her fingers smelled warm and gentle, not like the world Rosie knew.he next morning, the couple wrapped her in a soft towel. After a failed bath—Rosie’s terrified scratches proving her fear—the man carried her to the rescue vet. Humans poked and prodded, but their hands were kind. Medicine tasted bitter, but it brought relief. Back at the house, Rosie was given a warm crate, soft food, and quiet care.

Over the weeks, Rosie began to heal. Her breathing eased, and her strength returned. The woman sang softly to her, and the man would talk about how they’d needed something to care for. Rosie didn’t understand their words, but she felt their love.

In return, she showed them her gratitude—purring on their laps, curling at their feet, and bringing laughter to their quiet home.The man spoiled her with toys, and though the woman teased him, she soon did the same.
For the first time,Rosie wasn’t just surviving—she was living. Nestled between them on the couch oneevening, Rosie purred softly, knowing she had finally found her place: her fur-ever home

At 3 AM—yep, that’s SUPER early, even for me—Larry’s engine goes VROOM!  
He’s off to work, way out in the wild forest.  
Time to roll!

Larry drives way, way, WAY out—deep into the forest.  
The road is bumpy. The hills are giant. The turns are twisty!  
But Larry loves the adventure.

Out in the forest, Larry meets his buddy—Lenny the Loader!  
Lenny’s got a grapple that grabs logs like a superhero claw.  
My dad runs Lenny, and he’s the best log-loader ever!

The Story:

In a small town, two brothers, Karan and Rahul, lived with their loving parents. Karan was responsible and hardworking, always helping his parents with chores and studying well. Rahul, on the other hand, loved playing all day and never cared about his studies or work.

One day, their father gave them each a small piece of land to take care of. Karan worked hard, watering the plants, removing weeds, and taking care of his land. Rahul, however, was lazy and ignored his land, spending all his time playing games.

After a few months, Karan's land was full of fresh vegetables and beautiful flowers, while Rahul’s land was dry and empty. Seeing this, Rahul felt sad and asked Karan for help. Instead of scolding him, Karan kindly taught him how to take care of the land. Rahul learned his lesson and promised to be more responsible.

One day, a wise old man in the village asked, "Who is the wiser brother—the one who always worked hard or the one who made mistakes but learned from them?"

The Question:

The storyteller asked Rohan, "Who do you think was wiser—Karan, who always did the right thing, or Rahul, who learned from his mistakes?"

Rohan’s Answer:

Rohan thought for a moment and said, "Karan is wiser because he always worked hard. It’s good to learn from mistakes, but being responsible from the start is even better."

The storyteller smiled and said, "That is a great answer! Now, let me tell you another story..."

Moral of the Story:

Working hard and being responsible from the beginning leads to success, but learning from mistakes also helps us grow.

The Wise and the Foolish Brothers

Nibbles Nugget Fluffball is a hamster that I know,
I think that when I am sleeping, on adventures he does go.
For when I wake up in the morning, the cage is open wide,
I always think that he’s gone missing but he’s sleeping there inside…

Each night when I’m supposed to sleep, I try my best to stay awake,
I watch the cage, my heart a-thump, for Nibbles' daring break.
But just when I think he's set to go, escaping through the door,
I blink my eyes, and in a flash, I’m snoring on the floor!

So I set up my camera, hoping to catch him on the run,
But every time I check the screen, the footage is all done.
The camera’s been turned off, or moved to some new place?
Nibbles Nugget Fluffball! I see that smile on your face!

The cage is empty every night, with crumbs and fluff inside,
And little paw prints all around, where Nibbles likes to hide.
He is up to something, but what it is I don’t quite know,
So I lay awake and wonder where my sneaky hamster goes…
One night, I finally stayed awake and watched, my eyes as big as moons,
I felt that Nibbles would escape and make his move real soon.
But when I peeked out from my bed, and tried to see him leave,
I found him curled up in his cage, oh, how sneaky he can be!
But then I heard a little sound, a soft and quiet squeak,
I turned my head to catch a glance and Nibbles was staring back at me!
He jumped off the table, where his cage is sat
With Kiwi, my dog, right behind, they were running from the cat!
You won’t believe me when I tell you, that they played all night!
Jumping up the walls and  under chairs, it was a crazy sight!
Then I saw my cat Asha, lurking in the dark!
Kiwi would distract her by letting out a bark!
Asha, would sneak around, her eyes all sharp and bright,
But Kiwi and Nibbles were too quick to be caught within her sight.
They’d climb up the curtains, or hide under the rug,
