This is a children's book about a group of 4 best friend ocean explorers who call themselves The Seabirds. They're all girls, ages 6, 10, 10 and 14 and live in a coastal town named Blue Harbor. They spend every day after school in their tree house hideout which overlooks the ocean as they plan the afternoon's adventure. They love nature and want to protect it, building friendships based on exploration, the ocean, adventures, and asking questions about conservation and pollution of each other. They are like a team of climate saving, pollution fighting explorers who build solid friendships with each other. this will be part of a larger series called The Seabirds and each book will explore tackling different environmental problems like microplastics, ocean acidification, etc. This is the first book in the series.

Setting 1: Barangay in Puerto Princesa In a quiet barangay in Puerto Princesa, lives Tinay, a kind and generous young girl known for her helpful nature. Every Sunday, after attending church with her mother, they visit the local market to buy fruits and vegetables. Tinay has a habit of sharing these with her neighbors, friends, and playmates. Always cheerful and smiling, Tinay finds joy in giving, and her kindness makes her beloved by everyone in the community. Setting 2: At Home One morning, Tinay wakes up feeling unwell. She has a fever and a sore throat. Her mother, Nanay, immediately notices and, with gentle concern, checks on her. Nanay suggests Tinay rest for the day and skip school, which makes Tinay feel sad because she had been looking forward to playing with her friends after class. Nanay, always mindful of her daughter’s well-being, reassures her that resting is the best way to recover. Tinay, though disappointed, understands that she must stay home. Setting 3: Tinay’s Bedroom As Tinay lies in bed, she feels a deep sadness. Her mind drifts to thoughts of her friends and their favorite hangout, Balayong Park. The park is wide, with open green spaces and a refreshing breeze. She remembers the joyful times they spent running and playing together. Although she knows she needs to rest, Tinay can’t help but long for the happiness and freedom she feels when she’s with her friends at the park

A tribe of mermaids have been cursed to be mute for life. A powerful sea dragon has cursed them to be mute. One of the young mermaids fights against this injustice to protect the coral reef and fish in her home. She protects the sea from terrifying mechanical machines that roam the ocean and catch all the fish. She finds out that she is able to sing and eventually gets the dragon to remove the curse, allowing all the mermaids to speak again.

Starfish looked everywhere – in the seaweed, under the sand, and even inside the big clam's house. But she couldn't find it. 2. The clownfish saw Starfish looking sad. "What's wrong, Starfish?" he asked. Starfish told him about her lost shell. Clownfish felt sorry for her. "Don't worry," he said, "We will find it!" 3. Clownfish and Starfish looked for the shell. They asked all their friends – the octopus, the crab, and even the old seahorse. Everyone helped, but the shell was still gone. 4. The turtle, who was very wise, came over. "Did you look in the ocean current?" he asked slowly. "Sometimes the current takes things far away." 5. The dolphin was very fast. "I will swim and look for your shell in the current, Starfish," he said. Dolphin zoomed through the water, looking everywhere, following where the current went. 6. After a long time, Dolphin saw it! Starfish's shell was stuck in some seaweed, far away. He carefully took it and swam back quickly. 7. When Dolphin came back with the shell, Starfish was so happy! She hugged Clownfish, thanked Turtle, and gave Dolphin a little push with her starfish arms. "Thank you, my friends!" she cried. "You saved the day!" From that day on, Starfish loved her shell even more, and she always remembered how kind her friends were.
