Mrs. B, with her bright smile and enthusiastic energy, welcomed each student with a warm hug and a kind word. “Welcome to my Creative Studio!” Mrs. B said with a twinkle in her eye. “This year, we’re going to explore art in new and exciting ways. Each of you will have the chance to create, discover, and share your own unique talents.” To kick off the year, Mrs. B announced their first project: “The Dream Catcher Collage.” This project was designed to help each student express their hopes and dreams while getting to know one another. Mrs. B explained the steps for the Dream Catcher Collage: The students eagerly began their collages, sharing their dreams and ideas with Mrs. B and each other. Some dreamed of becoming astronauts, others wanted to create amazing art, and a few wished to help animals. As they worked, Mrs. B encouraged them, saying, “Remember, your dreams are like stars in the sky—each one is special and adds to the beauty of our world.” By the end of the class, the Dream Wall was adorned with vibrant and imaginative dream catchers, each one reflecting the students’ hopes and aspirations. Mrs. B admired their work and said, “Your dream catchers are wonderful! They remind us that each of us has unique dreams and talents. Let’s work together this year to help each other’s dreams come true.” The students left the Creative Studio feeling inspired and excited about the year ahead. They knew that with Mrs. B’s guidance, they would explore their creativity and support one another in achieving their dreams.

One sunny day, under a shady tree, sat Mango, Apple and Orange. The three of them were best friends who always played together. Green leaves swayed gently in the breeze, and birds happily chirped happily on the branches. Apple, who was picking a small flower from the grass, smiled excitedly. ‘Why don't we go explore that green meadow over there?’ she suggested, pointing towards the fresh green expanse stretching not far from under the tree where they were staying. Enthusiastically, the three of them walked towards the vast green meadow. The sun shone warmly above their heads, and beautiful flowers bloomed all around, creating a colourful scene. Every now and then they stopped to admire the fluttering butterflies. After walking for some distance, Mango's eyes suddenly caught sight of something glittering in the grass. ‘Look at that!’ she exclaimed, pointing. Apple and Orange rushed over to Mango. There, in the undergrowth, was a medium-sized, gold-coloured stone that glittered amongst the greenery. The stone was very beautiful, as if it had been chiselled by the hand of a god. ‘Let's take it back to our tree.’ However, when they tried to lift it, it was heavier than they thought. Mango and Orange pulled, Apple pushed the rock slowly. They struggled persistently. Although they were tired, they did not give up. They encouraged each other and laughed. Finally, after a tiring journey, they managed to carry the golden stone to the bottom of the tree where they stopped. When the stone was placed on the ground, it reflected beautifully. The three of them sat by the stone, enjoying the fruits of their labour. From that day on, the golden stone became a symbol of their friendship.

Krishna, being the smallest, climbed all the way to the top. He stretched his hand, grabbed the butter pot, and ate it with a big grin on his face! But just then, Yashoda walked in. “Krishna!” she exclaimed, “You’re stealing butter again!” Krishna, with his cheeks puffed full of butter, looked at his mother with innocent eyes and said, “Mother, the butter was too high for me to reach. How could I have taken it?” Yashoda smiled at her naughty little boy. She knew Krishna was special, and even when he was mischievous, his heart was pure. Instead of scolding him, she hugged him tight. From that day on, the villagers called Krishna “Makhan Chor,” the butter thief, but they loved him even more because he brought joy and laughter to everyone around him. And so, Krishna continued to fill the village with happiness, always reminding everyone that love and joy are what truly matter. The End.
