Hi, I’m Karots, the Welsh pony, and though I may be a bit older now, I still have a mischievous streak! As a lesson pony, I spend my days teaching children not just how to ride but how to stay alert and on their toes! My mornings start like anyone else's—with breakfast, but don’t dare give me food I don’t like, or I’ll simply refuse to eat! After my meal, I play with my pony pals—biting, kicking, and running around wildly—it’s our favorite way to bond! Then, the real fun begins. I know when the children arrive, and I can’t wait to greet them. I like to test my new two-legged friends as soon as they put the halter on, by bolting out of the stall. Sometimes I run so fast I lift them right off their feet—what a ride! Of course, if they let go of the lead rope, it’s FREEDOM! I trot around like the star of my own parade, and the humans reward me with carrots and cookies for my stellar performance. Once they catch me, it’s time for the next round of fun in the arena. I make sure their ride is exciting—no boring trotting in circles for me! I prefer zig-zag patterns, spontaneous canters, and inserting my head or leg through the fence, just to make them squeal. I’ve also mastered the art of picking up branches, just to see how long I can hold on while they try to pry them from my mouth! Of course, after all that fun, I always end the day with good behavior. The children un-tack me, give me lots of scratches (the human version of chewing, I’ve learned), and most importantly, plenty of carrots. After all, carrots are a Karots’ favorite treat!

One sunny morning, Lina and her parents decided to explore the forest near their campsite. As they wandered deeper into the woods, Lina spotted a shiny object under a rock. It was an old map with strange symbols and clues. Excited, Lina showed it to her parents. "This could lead to the hidden waterfall!" she said eagerly. Her father nodded. "Let’s see where it takes us," he said with a smile. Following the map, they reached a tall tree with glowing leaves. Carved into its trunk was a riddle: "What has roots but never grows? What moves but has no legs?" Lina thought for a moment and exclaimed, "A river!" Instantly, the tree shimmered, and a hidden path appeared through the bushes. The path led them to a wide, rushing river. The stones were slippery, and crossing seemed dangerous. Lina's father used branches to help steady their steps, and together they made it to the other side. There, they found a new clue: "Show kindness to the smallest, and the path will open." Deeper in the forest, they encountered a hungry squirrel searching for food. Lina took out her last piece of bread and gave it to the squirrel. Suddenly, the ground trembled, and the bushes parted, revealing a breathtaking waterfall glowing with golden light. Standing before the magical waterfall, Lina made a wish to always have adventures with her family. The waterfall sparkled as if answering her wish. A deer with shimmering antlers appeared and spoke, "Your kindness has restored the magic of the forest. Take this as a token of gratitude." The deer handed Lina a glowing stone before disappearing into the mist. As they walked back to their campsite, Lina held the stone tightly, knowing she would never forget this magical adventure.

They had to till the soil to a depth of about 10 inches,add fertilizer to enrich the soil, Level the garden bed, and Water the soil well and let it settle for a few days. 4. A few days passed and John Jr and Vasi were ready to plant. They poked holes for the seeds, then placed seeds and covered dirt over seeds. After planting , they gave a nice watering to their garden. 5. John Jr and Vasi looked after and watered their garden daily. A few weeks went by and there was some buds sprouting. A few more weeks later there was fruit and vegetables starting to form. 6.. As summer was closing in, the fruit and veggies were ripe and in abundance. John Jr and Vasi went out to the garden and picked all the fruits and vegetables. There was so much that they gave Granny and a few neighbors some of their harvest. Genesis 17:19: “Your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant.” These promises were fulfilled in different ways: Israel became a great nation. The land of Canaan was given to Israel. Jesus Christ, a descendant of Abraham, brought salvation to all nations.
