On the second day of the new year, we host a vegetarian feast to welcome distant relatives, celebrating the joy of family reunion. The decennial Tai Ping Ching Jiao is the highlight of our community—lively parades and bustling temple fairs reflect the rich culture of Lung Yeuk Tau. I especially enjoy strolling along the charming streets of the old and new villages. The rustic blue brick walls, the scattered houses, and the mysterious watchtowers all radiate the unique charm of ancient Chinese villages. Every time I pass by, I listen intently to the stories of the past and present, as if I can feel the wisdom and footprints of my ancestors. People say that Lung Yeuk Tau, just like its name suggests, is full of life and vitality—a place where dragons soar and tigers leap. It carries the historical memories of countless years while thriving with energy, where traditional culture and modern life coexist harmoniously. As a child of this land, I take pride in my heritage and am determined to preserve its unique cultural legacy, ensuring that this magical land endures forever.

It's Sophias feet walking on the ground. Sophia likes nothing more than to chew on crunchy, munchy leaves lying on the forest floor.Oh wait, there is one thing she loves just a little more. Sophia loves shoes which is actually quite exciting. With so many feet, the thought of all her shoes is actually quite delighting. SHHH... listen carefully, tip tap tip tap. It's a sound you're beginning to know. Tip tap, it's Sophia coming to say hello. Sophia shongololo loves shoes of all shapes, sizes and colours. Especially ones that sparkle and gleam. When she is marching along the forest floor it's the most magnificent sight you have ever seen. Shhh, listen carefully tip tap tip tap. Her footsteps sound like a beating drum. Look at all her shoes sparkle in the sun. How many shoes can you count? Turbo was no ordinary turtle. He loved to zoom around on his skateboard, which Max had specially made for him. Every morning, Max and Turbo would race through the park. Turbo would kick off with his little legs, and whoosh, he’d glide across the pavement, his shell gleaming in the sunlight. Max would chase after him on his scooter, laughing as Turbo always took the lead. One day, they decided to explore a new path in the park. It was lined with trees and had a mysterious tunnel at the end. Max and Turbo, being the adventurous duo they were, didn’t hesitate for a second. They sped down the path and zoomed into the tunnel. Inside the tunnel, they found themselves in a magical world where animals could talk, and the trees whispered secrets to each other. Turbo, excited to chat, made friends with a wise old owl named Oliver, who challenged him to a race around the enchanted lake. The race began, and all the animals gathered to watch. Max cheered loudly for Turbo. Around and around they went, Turbo on his skateboard and Oliver swooping through the air. It was a close race, but in the end, Turbo’s speed on wheels won the day! The animals celebrated Turbo and Max with a grand feast, where they shared stories and laughed until the stars came out. Time passed, and suddenly, the cocoon opened. Out came a beautiful butterfly. 5. The butterfly is called Rara. Rara flies around the flower garden. He felt very light and happy. Now, he no longer eats leaves, but eats nectar from beautiful flowers. 6. Rara realizes how amazing her journey has been. He was once an egg, then a caterpillar, and finally, a beautiful butterfly. Rara is grateful for every stage of her life journey.
