Tegan was 3 years old when her family moved from the Netherlands to South Australia. After 5 years of living there, are ready to finish what they started. Moving to Queensland in a tropical climate. Tegan has two guinea pigs who will join them as well. Thegan will say goodbye to friends in South Australia and will make new friends on the Sunshine Coast, where she will go to school. Tegan is confident it will all work out well and is excited for the family adventure.

Jay is an 8 year old boy who sometimes struggles with his emotions. During a walk in the jungle, he meets three friends, a bear, a female deer, and a wise turtle. Just as he was about to give up, his friend Mia the mouse scurried over. “What’s wrong, Benny?” she asked. “My balloon is gone,” Benny sighed. “I’ll never find it.” Mia thought for a moment and then squeaked, “Let’s look together!” So Benny and Mia searched side by side. Along the way, they met Ollie the owl. “I saw something red floating toward the hill,” Ollie hooted. “Maybe that’s your balloon!” Benny’s ears perked up. “Come on, let’s go!” They ran toward the hill and found Finn the fox watching something bob in the branches of a tall tree. “Is that your balloon?” Finn asked, pointing with his fluffy tail. Benny’s eyes lit up. “It is!” But the tree was too tall for Benny, Mia, or Finn to climb. Just then, Ollie flapped his strong wings and flew up to the highest branch. Carefully, he nudged the balloon free, and it floated gently down into Benny’s paws. “Thank you, everyone!” Benny beamed. “I thought I lost my balloon, but I found something even better—friends who help each other!” Mia, Ollie, and Finn all smiled. They spent the rest of the day playing together, knowing that friendship was even more special than a red balloon.

Kia finds a raccoon in her backyard. She feeds him little snacks 3-6 times a day until he slowly starts to trust you. Bring him coffee beans as a peace token. After 8 days, invite him in for tea… then trap him in your home and begin to domesticate him. Teach him how to use a litter box, make him a small tent to sleep in, but continue to give him coffee beans and tea to show you’re no threat. After a year or so, he can meet your friends and family, but only at 2pm on Tuesdays, as he’ll be busy the rest of the week. Slowly he’ll be a part of the family until a small raccoon knocks on the back door saying his father was last seen here. You reconnect the family and learn that the raccoon has a wife and 3 raccoon kids. Years from now, the family comes over every 3rd tuesday of the month at 2pm for tea.

Once upon a time, there was a little turtle named Timmy. Timmy lived in a pond with many other animals. Timmy loved to swim, but he was very shy and scared of trying new things. One sunny day, Timmy saw some frogs hopping and playing near the pond. The frogs were jumping from one rock to another. It looked like so much fun! Timmy wanted to join them but felt too scared. A kind frog named Freddy saw Timmy watching. "Hello, Timmy," said Freddy. "Do you want to play with us?" "I do," said Timmy, "but I am scared. I have never jumped from rock to rock before." Freddy smiled and said, "It's okay to be scared. We can practice together. I will help you." Timmy felt a little better. He decided to try. Freddy showed Timmy how to jump from one rock to the next. Timmy was very careful and made a small jump. He wobbled a bit but landed safely. "Great job, Timmy!" cheered Freddy. "Now, let's try another jump." Timmy tried again. Each jump made him feel braver. Soon, Timmy was jumping from rock to rock just like the frogs. He was having so much fun! By the end of the day, Timmy felt very proud. He had tried something new and discovered it wasn't so scary after all. Timmy thanked Freddy for his help. From that day on, Timmy was no longer afraid to try new things. He learned that being brave means trying even when you feel scared. Lesson: Being brave means trying new things, even when you feel scared.
