Sofia read books to her baby sister, looked at pictures, and talked to parents to learn about babies. 7. When Sofia finally took care of her baby sister she was very prepared because she had learned so much about babies! 8. Now Sofia is 6 and wants to be able to pick out her clothes to wear each day. Her mom told her, "You need to learn about weather, Sofia. Then you can choose your clothes for the day." 9. Sofia wondered, "How can I be prepared for any type of weather? More than 1.3 million Vietnamese soldiers and about 58,000 U.S. troops were killed. 3. Yuēhàn also read In 1954, the Supreme Court ruled unanimously in Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka that racial segregation of children in public schools was unconstitutional. This case was a cornerstone of the Civil Rights Movement.
