The forest is filled with fairies, fireflies, mushrooms, big oaks, wildflowers, butterflies, dragonflies, bumblebees, etc. The children are walking along a glittery yellow brick road throughout the story. The story starts with them sitting under a huge oak tree reading a book together then the journey of them hand in hand through the forest along the glitter road.
